Fog light replacement

I want to replace my fogs with either the PIAA or Narva lights. Drove to dinner in my max in the rain with the fogs on. Went out afterwords we took my friends Mercedes with yellow fogs...all I can say is I want the yellow...what a difference. Anyway to the point of my post. I can't find the post that gives instrution on how to change the bulbs without taking off the bumper. Any have the instructions?

Thanks
Chris

This is pretty easy. For the driver's side you need to remove the intake or the stock air filter. This will give you access to the bulb. For the passenger's side, remove the fluid reservoir (there's 2 10mm bolts holding it in place). After that you'll need to remove the fill tube for the windshield washer fluid. You can do this by twisting it counter clockwise. After that you should have access to the bulb.
I just replaced my PIAA extreme white bulbs with PIAA ion bulbs. Amazing the difference in brightness. Hope this helps.

Are your "ions" yellow? Do they look like jsmithsole's? I want mine to be as bright yellow as the Lexus IS300's...

As far as I know, all the PIAA ions are yellow. They're pretty bright.

Here's more detailed instructions that edify11 gave me a while back (yes I saved them):

For the driver's side, you need to free up some space by removing the intake. After the intake is removed, you should have enough space to get to the lamp. Just turn the harness and you'll have access to the bulb. There is a ground cable that may get in the way as you pull the harness out, you can remove this with a 10mm socket. For the passenger side, first remove the plastic finisher that covers all the fluid reservoirs. The clips come off pretty easily. Pop up the middle with a flathead screwdriver and the clips can be removed. Then you need to remove the the reservoir for the coolant. Two 10mm bolts keep it in place. You don't need to remove it completely, just pull it off to the side so you can work. Be careful you don't tip it the wrong way or it'll leak. After the reservoir is removed, you may want to remove the front metal bracket that holds the reservoir in place. If I remember correctly, it's another 10mm bolt. Just like on the driver's side, the ground cable may get in the way again, so you can remove it with a 10mm socket.

Got me right through it no problem!!
I love the yellow's they are sooo much brighter than the stocks.
Here's some pics I posted before with and without:

Wow, jsmith, I can't believe you saved that. Since I sent those instructions I figured out that all you need to do for the passenger side is remove the coolant reservoir and the windshield fluid fill tube. I just discovered this last week while changing my bulbs. Other than that those instructions are right on.
How's that Berk Exhaust? I ordered an intake from them to replace my Stillen. I should be getting it shortly.
