Has anyone had a problem with the window express down feature on their 04 Maxima? On two seperate occasions I returned to my car to find all the windows down. The first time I just thought I pressed the key fob in my pocket without knowing it. The second time my remote was on my desk (about 30 feet from my car) and when I returned to the car all windows were down and the doors were still locked. I plan to take this to the dealer, but was wondering if anyone has had this problem or if there was a TSB on it. I would also be interested if anyone knows how to disable this feature.

 

I think this is a first for the ORG...I could understand 2 front windows down..but all four...I would see the dealer asap.

 

on the 02 the front go down but all 4 on the 6th gen? I think you can disable it I saw it on another thread but can't find it right now.......

 

The key fob can't make the rear windows go down.... if it could, I'd love to know how.

The normal operation on my 6spMT SE with Elite is to press and hold the unlock button on the key fob and all 4 windows go down. If you release the unlock button before the windows are completely down they stop immediately. This has only happened twice but it is puzzeling me.

 

thats scary. you thinking your car is safe and sound but really all four of your windows are down. i have an 04 elite and with the key fob i can make all four windows go down by holding the unlock button, releasing it will stop the windows.

 

Oh, didn't realize the elite got express down of the rear windows as well... man, I'm jealous (no elite here)

Anyway... are you sure you weren't sitting on the remote or something? I have set off my car alarm and opened the trunk by accident before by leaning on something pocket height while the key fob was in my pocket.
