SSR, another question are you having to fab from scratch the mounting plate for the timing chain cover? I'm pretty much referring to both 5.5 and 6th gen. Have you looked at the course of action in doing this and are there any issues that you think you will encounter by doing this. This I believe besides the oil return was the reason we can't use stillen's kit. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes we're going to have to custom fabricate a mounting bracket and plumb our own oil lines.

Yo!!!

WHEN IS THIS OUT!!!

You can have my paypal account right now!

Gimme supercharger and all accessories needed for 365HP, if you could somehow also factor in an intercooler and oil cooler feeding the SC.

Consider this a full sale.

DONE!

Hey Kam, we plan to make the supercharger kit like this

Stage 1
  • - Supercharer Unit
  • - Oil Lines and Fittings
  • - Charge Pipe
  • - Bracket, Pulley, and Hardware
  • - Belts, Hoses, Clamps etc.
  • - Intake and Filter
  • - Adjustable FPR

Stage 2
  • - Pre-Programmed Engine Management
  • - Intercooler
  • - Smaller Pulley
  • - Injectors

But this could all change as production goes forward.

You can upsell me to stage 2 if stage 1 is rock solid.

When is it available?

Thanks,

Kam

Once you had a test car and the S/C was developed, how long would you estimate it would take have a production model available for sale?

Also, any estimate as to how long you would need a car? Days? Weeks? A month or more?

No sir, we are very fair on all of our shipping. And just like progressive, we'll shop around for the best shipping quote to Canada.Whether it's DHL, USPS, UPS, FedEx or a freight company. But since it's just a small supercharger package the shipping will be very minimal

We will need a car for about a week, or two depending on how hard it is to make all of the Tooling (to replicate the kit once completed).

Say we got a car in tomorrow we could have production kits out in Late December, early January.

Wow thats some good turnaround times for sure. I worked with CE on the Y pipe and i believe it took well over a year for them to finish that project. Hopefully we can get a donor over their asap.

Shops like CE have limited time to spend all of their resources into one product. Since we are expanding and our main focus is forced induction, we can get this project done very fast. But yes, hopefully we can get a donor in ASAP and get this finished

Hell yeah

I'm debating shipping my car down there for the donor project.

Wonder how much shipping costs on a freight to AZ from Canada?

In some cases we've had customers drive down and fly back. Or you can ship it, you can get an online quote here at http://www.dasautoshippers.com/personal_vehicles.html

Shouldn't be all that much... my friend had his Supra shipped from Jersey to TX and it was only like $700.

But if it's only a week and the price is $3500, the idea of driving down there and flying back actually sounds pretty good... I wouldn't be able to do it until December though, so hopefully someone else will jump in first and get it done.

OMG why am i living so far north of all the action

as the Title states.....

SSR cant you adapt an Altima SC kit to maxima fairly shortly?

Also, your expected output with stock is 365whp or plus 100hp.

What do you expect for us with:

UDP, Y-pipe, cattman catback exhaust, CAI?

Thanks,

Kam

Does anyone think this car could pull a 5 second 0-60 and a 13 second qtr supercharged? Id be afraid the net result would still cause the car to get a spanking from a CTS-V and an S-type R. I only mention those cars bc they both are available around here with less than 10k on the odo for $40,000.

Kam on the stage one the only thing that will be restricting the power output will be the factory fuel system. I'd say it's safe to say we can add a 75-80HP gain on the stock fuel system, which would put you guys right at 330-340HP + existing modifications.

With the UDP, Y-Pipe and Catback, (The CAI will be replaced with our own) I would say you will see a good 25-30HP on a supercharged car.

Fuel?>

Ok in reference to fuel, what kind of consumption increase do you expect with SC kit? Stage1 and Stage2?

Thanks,

Kam

None really, fuel consumption is more a factor of your driving style. Fuel will be added (losing MPG avg.) under boost not overrall.

I think if you buy a S/C, do you really care about fuel economy?? Just hit the gas pedal and have fun!! It may cost a few hundred bucks more in gas over the course of a whole year.

Tru

I mean the only thing that happens is you get more air in the engine right?

With the fuel managment you prolly will get more fuel consumption thought.

Thanks,

Kam

It's a very small difference, like I said before it all depends on driving styles. If you drive a stock maxima hard you'll get bad gas mileage, if you drive it slow you'll get gas mileage, same theory for supercharging.

are you guys going to make the UDP work with the SC? I've read in other forums that is not a good idea to use a lighter UDP with a SC..

I'm not sure if this was using a UDP with a smaller pulley on the SC please correct me..
