im planning on lowering my 2004 maxima with eibach lowering springs. i was wondering if i needed to get struts or if i could just use the stock ones

 

You are supposed to get struts, some of us have lowered on stocks and been fine (over one year for me with no problems) but some people have blown struts in as little as one week.

hey i checked out that thread you gave me, they have struts for the rear but where do i find struts for the front?

 

I guess they are still testing them, the rears just came out and 04MaxSE here on the .org has been testing the fronts for them.
D@activetuning is on the site quite often and has been giving updates on release dates.
Any word D?

I have stock struts with my Eibach Pro-Kit. Although it has only been a month and a half, I have had no problems yet. I am waiting for Tokico to finish production on struts for the 6th gen. I called Tokico today and was told that I could expect the struts to be available by the beginning of 2005. I'm not sure how reliable this information is, the lady did not seem to be the sharpest pencil in the box.
