Orange peel???
I remember awhile ago somebody mentioning something about a problem they were having with the paint on the car, said something about "orange peel". Well I think I figured it out and now Im having the same problem. The paint on my spoiler is starting to have wierd white spots on it and it kinda looks like "orange peel". If someone could help me out as to how it can be fixed or avoided it would be appreciated. Should I bring it back to the dealer for repaint or what?

white spots? i don't think that is orange peel. OP is like a pebble appearance, no color change. and Nissan claims it is intentional. I've even received compliments about it.
i get white spots from my calcium rich water (so no washing at home) but you can ask the dealer and hope for an honest opinion.

Hi guys!
I also noticed an "orange peel" in my SL. I have Winter Frost, but the Black lining at the border of the windshield is showing an orange chip. Anybody knows what that is?
Also, the black color on the letter "S" of the Nissan emblem at the front grille is already chipped, and I only had this car for 2 months, now with 5,800miles on it. Should I bring it back to the dealership and have it repainted?
Thanks guys!

Here's a frew pics of "bad" orange peel, but i'll give you an idea:
What you're describing is not the above. Bring your car in for repairs.
Good luck with it.
