Hesitation on take off / passing

I drove a 05 SE for the weekend and this car seemed to have on demand power! I purchsed a used 04 and it seems to hesitate for a second when giving all the gas... I hear the engine rev then it takes off (like a bat out of H***) I wonder if this is because it has 20K on it and this is just how it is broken in, or if there may be a problem.

I asked the dealer to take a look at it... But I wanted to see how you all feel about this.

Isn't that how all autotragic transmissions operate?

Well the 05 was not the same feel... Just checking to see if this is the start of a problem I needed to pay attention to.
