Hey all, I just recieved my HID headlight assemblies that I bought on Ebay, before I mount them I want to replace the stock fog lights with some PIAA Xtremes so that the light color is closer to the HID's. Does anybody know what model bulb I should buy to replace the OEM's?

 

The fog lights are H3's

Sylvania makes them too, model H3ST Silverstar High Performance Halogen Upgrade: The Look of HID: Whitest, Brightest.

I dont know which to get, either Piaa or Slyvania. They both make great bulbs

 

I just ordered the PIAA H3 Super Plasma's at a cost of $64.00

 

Slyvania are verrrrry nice.

 

I personally like Piaa's better.....don't forget to not touch the bulbs with your grubby fingers....

 

Remember if you go white with your fogs, it renders them pretty useless when there is fog and you may need them. I went with yellow Piaa H3's and I couldn't be happier!! Also changes my blinkers to match the yellow fogs better...

Ive had both. The PIAA's are whiter in my experience.

what did you replace the blinkers with?

No, I bought actual yellow bulbs not what was on that link above.
The yellow bulbs are: Hibris (rest is in Japanese) that's the only info I have...

 

i love the way yellow fogs look..white/hid are too common for my taste
