During a road trip this past week I noticed that my driver side mirror is not moving to the correct position when switching between driver 2 and driver 1 memory. The passenger side seems to be working correctly. The driver side mirror will make a small motion as if it is starting to move to the new position then will stop. I tried resetting the memory but same thing. The mirror seems to work ok using the power control manually. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

 

It happened to my 03 Expedition but I took it to the dealer to have it fixed under warranty. I think you should do the same with your Max. I have no problem so far (knock on wood) with my 05 Max's mirror memory setting.

It should definitely be covered under warranty.
