Gonna go back home to Malaysia for business. Will be gone 3 weeks. 3 weeks without a thumping VQ35 yanking me along... Just wanna know if there's anything I should do to the car before leaving it. Want Maxi to be ok and start up fine when I get home. Any suggestions would be helpflul. Thanks.

 

Shouldn't be a problem in LA. Make sure all your fluids are topped off, especially the gas.

 

The battery may go dead by the time you get back. There's a current drain on it to maintain the radio settings, and factory alarm, etc....

You may want to have someone go start it and let it run for 10 minutes each week. Or just disconnect the positive battery cable. Although I think the Max had some sort of battery run down prevention mechanism?? I've left the interior lights on overnight a couple times and had a hard time starting it the next morning.

i went out for a trip for 5 weeks. just filled up the gas and checked for other fluids. not a single problem, when I came back. the car was fine and started fine too.

I am thinking you will also be fine....
