My second defective CD player
My second defective CD player
Today my second CD player refused to respond to the #5 button--couldn't play or eject the #5 disk. This is the second time with the exact same problem as with the first player....Only 10 thousand miles on my SL. Anybody else with this kind of problem???
Not specifically. However, when I first picked up my car, the cd player "gate" wouldn't open. No problem; the dealer pulled a unit out of another Max on the lot and had it replaced within 30 minutes. No problems since, even in the extreme weather that we have experienced this winter.
my cousin had the same problem as most 5.5 gens bose systems have with the left side speakers cuttin off when hitin a bump. i went threw 2 in 4 months on my 5.5 though. his new one still workin good so hopefully this was a one in a million case for the 04's cus i haven't heard anyone complain about that.
Well, I went to the dealer today. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that nothing is wrong with my CD player. The bad news is that I wasn't intelligent enough to realize that the reason button #5 wasn't responding was merely that I didn't have a CD in the #5 slot!
Afterward, something William Bendix used to say in similar situations in the TV show, Life of Riley, (before most of your times) crossed my mind. He used to say, "What a revoltin' development this is!"
