Sirius Radio cutting out....
Factory kit installed by me, uses the antenna splitter (not sure if there is another kit). The main unit seems to be functioning normally when I go under an underpass (even at 80+mph) the unit plays out the buffered 3 seconds then drops out and re-acquires, also driving down residential streets it cuts in and out, this summer when the leave come back it should be relatively unusable. Anyone experiencing anything like this, I had the dealer order me a new antenna?

Mine will onlu cut out if I'm stopped under an overpass or under a canopy getting gas or something. This past summer it did kick out some in very hilly very heavily wooded areas of central/eastern KY (those little two lane windy roads with the trees hanging over the road). Otherwise, I've been perfectly happy with mine.
Is your antenna on the roof or on the package shelf? If it's not on the roof, that could be part of the problem.

It's on the roof in the prescribed spot, I would expect it to drop out under gas station canopies and this it does, I'm talking about I'm cranking down I90W in Massachusetts at 80-90MPH and it drops three seconds after each and every overpass. The three second buffer was included to prevent this type of thing, my dwell time under a two lane overpass is an eye blink at those speeds. Something is bad (antenna/Sirius module) not sure witch.

I get occasional dropouts, but very limited. There's a certain section of highway in town where there must be some signal interference. I do fine under bridges and at gas stations; of course, pulling into my parking garage always cuts it out.
But I love my Sirius radio!
