I would get a picture of mine posted, but it is filthy with all the snow that we've had that it's gonna be a while before I can get a clean picture.

Do you mean to say, "...wonder why we do not have all color options on which to vote?" If so, as I recall, the maximum number of poll response options is ten. As I understand it, the total of color options for both 05 and 04 is greater than ten.

Call me on drunk but I count a total of 10 and no more:

1. Liquid Silver
2. Winter Frost
3. Onyx Black
4. Radiant Ember
5. Spirited Bronze
6. Red Opulence
7. Majestic Blue
8. Coral Sand
9. Champagne Mist
10. Smoke

Where is the missing color?

Ohhhh....I see, in the poll we are missing Champagne Mist...but still no more than 10 colors that I know of....well, besides custom colors like:

Maxima617 is a different breed though. Actually, curious to what the color was before the change.I think it was Majestic Blue with an overspray. Help us out Maxima617.....what did you do?

Bought what was on the lot - coral sand

I had my sights on a liquid silver exterior and a light gray interior, but the dealer only had coral sand with the equipment that I wanted. Coral sand would not have been my first choice or even my second choice (I also like the spirited bronze), but it is OK. I view coral sand as somewhat "understated", and that is fine with me. It's subtle and doesn't draw attention to itself.

I entertained the idea of black exterior and black interior, I think it would look great, but I also think it would take more attention than I want to give to keep looking clean and it would be very hot in the summer (not fun with a long sleeved shirt and tie).

In addition to your question regarding how one ended up with the color one did, I speculate that the data from the color poll reflect a certain age and computer use demographic too.

The data make me curious as to why there are so few Coral Sand poll respondees.

Majestic Blue. My 98 Max was black and my 69 SS Camaro is black so I needed a change.

Wow, MAJESTIC BLUE has the most votes for color??

I live in Houston, and I dont think ive even seen one yet. Mostly see silver (which is another reason I went Winter Frost) Love the silver though...

It is not really common here probably because of the salted streets and highways. My Choice though

I just had the tint done on my 04 spirited Bronze, It looks awsome, I will post picks later. I do wish I had gone with the smoke color, darker is better when it comes to paint.

I thought about a blue or black car. Black is gorgeous WHEN IT IS ALL CLEANED UP. Given my driving routes and lack of free time to clean my car, even though sometimes I think about getting a black or dark car, a lighter, more neutral color is more practical for me. I'm one of the five that got Coral Sand, which is OK, but in retrospect, I wish I had gotten the spirited bronze. White is beautiful when it's cleaned up, but to my thinking, suffers from the same need to be pristine to look good. Coral Sand or the spirited bronze still look pretty good with some significant road dust.

I have Majestic Blue w/ black interior. It looks quite nice when it's clean. Onyx also looks good when it's washed and waxed.

Looks we are in the minority. I can't believe there are more "burnt oranges" than coral sand.

..I think black is gorgeous clean or dirty...I eman after hearing how terrible it is keeping the black car clean, was pretty happy with how it looked after getting rained on and drying.

I hear you. Though Coral Sand may be understated, Burnt Orange is, to be polite and in my opinion, "fringe esoterica".

Suggest going here - good luck!

http://www.nissanusa.com and then to "Build your own" - that way you can see both interior and exterior options on both the SL and SE...

The colors as represented on the NissanUSA website might not be true due to technology limitations. I suggest you go to a dealer and look at various vehicles and color swatches to get a better idea of the interior and exterior colors and the various (and limited) combinations.

05 Nissan Pathfinder LE- Black// 04 Maxima SL- Black

Pathfinder has Black with the camel leather interior, looks sweeeeeet. Its the only black Pathfinder I've seen with that setup and the DVD. My Max is black with the silver/grey leather and it looks rich. With these 2 rides in my garage I look like a friggin ganster house.

PS. The SL's faux wood doesn't bother me, if I ever decide that I hate it I can change it out to the SE kit.

Okay guys, I can't create a new thread so I will ask this question here. I just bought two 2005 SE's, one Coral Sand and one Liquid Silver. As part of a freebie package from the dealer, I can have a handpainted pinstripe on each car, and it's a two tone split stripe where you get to pick the colors. I'm not sure I want the pinstripe. I have reservations as to whether or not it ruins the clean lines of the car or not. Have seen a couple of "tape stripes" on the car, but I'm still not sure about pinstripes. Do you guys have any thoughts on this? I would appreciate some help so I don't get "pinstrippers remorse".

I just bought an '05 SL in Spritied Bronze with Cafe Latte (leather) interior. Love the uniqueness of the bronze (pewter-type) color. Different from almost anything else on the road -- except an Altima. And always wanted a camel-like color leather interior. The contrast between the two is just perfect for me.

Red Opulence here also, I have had two black cars and it was almost criminal the things you had too do to keep it clean. Not to mention during the summer at the beach or just hang'n out, leaning up against my ride and getting my A$$ burned. I like Black, but I like Red better... Respecting, PEACE All...

PS, secondary choices I think are hot are Burnt Orange and Spirited Bronze.
