Ringing Bell Sound

Guys
Before I call and make an appointment at my dealer I was wondering if any of you have ever experienced this problem before.
Basically when I am driving around 35mph and higher I hear like a ringing bell sound very low not loud but loud enought to become annoying. It sounds like its def coming from the front of the car. The car has about 9,500 miles.

P.S I did have the shimmy problem but that was fixed when they balanced my tires and put "many" weights around the rim.

Do any of you have any clues to what this may be?

Thanks,
Frank

No, I did not do any mods yet all I did was window tinting, I still have my stock grill.

i got that ringing noise too... took it to the dealer thinking it was the heat shield.. they sed its not the heat shield.. and the couldnt find the problem.. and its getting louder.. im thinking its a piece of the catalyst in the cat thats making the noise

I have a similar problem. I get a low rattling noise i think is coming from the rear of the car whenever i go over small bumps. i scheduled an appointment at the dealer today. I will keep you posted.

I don't know if this is like what I had, but I had a high pitched rattle/ring noise, but mine was more RPM and load related than speed. At first I thought it was speed though. Turns out one of the brackets that hold the exhaust was cracked causing it. Actually the eye hole that the bolt goes through was broken in half. Quite interesting, probably something I hit, but thankfully my dealer removed the part and said they would order another one under warranty.

I just got back from the dealer. They stated the rattling noise in the rear is due to bad rear shocks & bushings which they have to special order. I'll keep you updated, hopefully within the next two week.

Dealer replaced rear Abdorber Kit Part # 56210-7Y027
Shock Bushing Part # 56218-3Z600
Shoch Bracket Assy Part # 55322-3Z000

Feels Great

this is not a noise, is the same bell that sounds when you let on the lights an open your door, but it start to sound at 80 mph and not stop until you get under that speed, what is happening, whats wrong with the car.

slow down maybe that will help. Not sure of any legal speed limits posted of 80 mph.

Where are you from? I remember when I was in Okinawa all the cars had a chime limiter at about 120kmph, which is the equivalent of 75MPH, maybe now the chime is at 80MPH, as my time there goes back 17 years or so. You'd have to remove the audible chime device, or at least disconnect it, however it may be part of the door chime as well...Ideally you'd want to disconnect what's sending signal from the speed-o...

Thanks for your post, i am from Uruguay (the little country in south america betwen Brazil and Argentina), i supose that is a speed advertisement but i do not have the owners manual, so i thinked that it could be set with the cruise controls, that is why i posted the question. so i must to continue looking for a solution.
