When you do the mod do you remove all the plastic parts including the large piece of plastic that goes across the front of the car that catches and redirects the air entering the engine bay between the hood and the front facia??

The reason I am asking is because it seems that somewhere I did read that some people were removing this. I had mine removed but it seems that my filter was getting very dirty quickly and I find myself cleaning it every 4-5 months. Thanks....

 

I say remove that and the resonator in the fender. The stock airbox has a hole that will get air from there once the resonator is removed.
