HID head light?

I want to change my stock none HID headlight to HID.
I was told at the dealer that I also need to replace stock wireharness
otherwise, HID bulb will burn the stock wires because it is too thin,
and it will cost over $900..
Has anybody changed headlight? if so, please tell me how.
have a nice day!!

Or you can go another way..

you need to replace the projector to the xenon projector. look at the pics towards the bottom of the thread.
Thats the way I went with. I replaced the stock halogen with the OEM HID. I bought smashed up healdights from a junkyard. and did a retro fit on my headlights
