Brake issues.... any input appreciated.

After 19,000 miles, brakes were squeeking slightly when first applying and the steering wheel would shimmy like crazy when brakes applied. Took in to the dealer and they turned the rotors, replaced brake pads and rotated/balanced tires (all under warranty <whew>).

Been driving it for about 2 weeks now since got out of the shop, and now I notice that when I'm cruising and apply the brakes to a stop, I get an increasing humming sound, almost like a low rumble. It stops smoothly, no shimmy, but the rumbling sound is what's getting me. The sound was not there before it was in the shop. I've had rotors turned on a previous car years ago and never noticed that type of problem.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? It's annoying, but more importantly, I'm not sure whether to be concerned or not. Any advice is appreciated...

Spunko,

Sounds like your gonna get to know your dealer very well. Good thing its still under warranty. Keep taking it back until resolved. Hopefully there is a TSB for this or something.
