Just washed my car (pics!)

Well, I just finished washing/waxing my car tonight. I really like the shine from Meguiar's NXT, although next time I'll be sure to apply a good sealent before waxing (probably Meguiar's #20 polymer sealent). Too bad I have a front plate.

Also, over the weekend I spent a good majority of Saturday detailing the inside - it's amazing how fun something like that really is.

Enjoy:

It's not nice, it's hot... I bet your neighbors are jealous. I need to shine up the Maxes and take some glamour shots of them.

Very nice shine. Are you available this weekend? I've got a couple of Nissans that are begging for a spring clean up; and I just don't have the time! Guess I'll take them to HMA.

Looks awesome. Now you need to get some tint on the Max. Just got mine done on Saturday (still need to take pics though). Got Limo in the back and 50% in the front.

Hehe, thanks for the comments all... I know it sounds strange, but spending a few hours washing your car is very therapuetic, and the car looks good afterwards too I also detailed the inside, and it looks nice too (except for the scratched info screen - even Plexus can't bring it back ).

However (just my luck), I got a pretty big door ding last night... I had to go to the store and I didn't park in the very outskirts like I normally do since it was pretty windy here and there were errant carts flying all around.... so, I picked out a good fairly empty location near the middle of the lot (away from errant carts) that had at least one space on either side... and when I come out, there is a muddy, rusty beater truck right next to me (out of all the other spots...), and the worst part is that he is over the line. I didn't think that there was a way for him to open his door without hitting me, so I checked for dings but didn't see any - but it was dark so I probably missed it. Anyway, I saw it this morning - got hit right in the rear wheel well. I'd post pics, but cardomain is down right now... as soon as it's up, I'll probably start a new thread.

A very sad day for my Max.

interior cleaning: leather or vinyl

I have a question concerning cleaning the interior on my SL. My seats are leather, that I know, and am using a leather conditioner. My question is, does anyone know if the following are leather or vinyl, so I know which right stuff to use on it:
1. Gear Shift (Leather or Vinyl)
2. Dashboard (Leather or Vinyl)
3. Steering Wheel (Leather or Vinyl)

Thanks. Appreciate anyone who knows to help out with this.
