I forgot to ask, what do you all think about the OEM spoiler when I put the WRX spoiler on. Should it stay or should it go now?

Blaxima: i wouldnt spend 550 on a spoiler from the dealer. Find an OEM replica online for 150 bucks or so. U can even have them paint it. .Dont get it before me though, I wanna be first!!! Just kidding. If u get it, post pics.

i think the CF would look so much hotter, and you could always paint it if you dont like it

The only problem I have with CF is tat it may look like I stuck it on rather than blending in, like if it was painted body color.

i think its way too thick and bulky for 6th gen's tiny rear end. and its way too flat with no lines. its like a dinner table back there.

yeah i guess your right, but i just feel like if its going to be custom it has to be CF. but this can be seen as a lot of other things as well. I figured it would be cheaper for now to get the CF one compared to the wrx and paint it. Then again if you get it cheaper on ebay, whenever... then i would go with non-CF

Actually, it would angle upward when installed. Like I put in the first post, it has LONG BOLTS sticking out the bottom so when it was resting on my trunki, it was about 2 inches higher than it would be if bolted down. The front has some unusual angles to it that make it more distinctive than a typical blobby-looking spoiler that it straight across the trunk. Here are some pics of a spoiler to show its different lines:

First the typical G35 spoiler

Now the WRX spoiler

They are pretty different.

the g35 looks more popuped up, if i could choose the wrx would be on my 05 if i had one. looks really good, but i want to see a front-side angle of the spoiler before i would choose

Here is a picture of a Subaru trunk with the spoiler attached. You can clearly see the cool angles of the front of it.

Deus,

Definitely go for it. It is a hot and unique look. Has anyone or can anyone photoshop a pic of it at the side angle??

The G spoiler is actually more mild than this. Its lower, thinner, and not as interesting OR NOT AS RICEY
If the PS version is accurate, it's WAY TOO WIDE...
DUDE!!! Don't do it!!! Your Max looks great as it is.

Yeah, I decided not to put on a spoiler. That one was the cleanest I've seen aside from the OEM one. Some people like them, some don't. I really don't care which anybody prefers. I had to think too hard to decide if I really wanted it, so that was a clear indicator that I shouldn't do it just yet if ever.

Thats the smartest thing said on the .org in a while.

If you have to sell yourself on it, and cant decide, that should tell you.

Not really feeling it on this Deus.....looks way to overstated for the Max. If you did get it you would really have to loose the stock one also. Main thing though.....like I say time and time again, if you like it, do it. Just posting my opinion. I think a nice black carbon fiber BMW lip spoiler would look good, but than again, you have the stock spoiler. Looks perfect as is. There is nothing I would change on your car right now. Again, just my 2 cents.

Well thats what Im looknig for - everyones two cents, good or bad or indifferent. I can just tell you that for some reason, in person it looks really really good. And also note that the spoiler is sitting up 2 full inches HIGHER because the bolts are resting on teh trunk. It will look much sleeker when bolted down. Trust me - like u guys did on my tinted tails.

Hey, if you want it and you like it.....I will back you up 100%. Now, when are you coming over so you can tint my tails....LOL. Thinking about it but not sure if I want something I can not remove if the cops around here do not like it. This is Mississippi.

Here are some pics of a black WRX with the spoiler on. WRX and Maxima rears are similar in size, although our trunks are a bit higher. DOes this sway any of you?

The one I am watching on ebay closes tomorrow about this time.

Just way to big for me and over the top.

I like this:

Wonder if it would fit. Nice for your black.......if the measurements are good. Easy install. Just another idea.

Its too much like the stock lip spoiler although I did think about it. Not a bad suggestion for someone who wants something conservative, yet slightly different.

If you want a WRX spoiler, trade in the max and get the WRX Sti and put that spoiler on it, however I think the high wing looks great on the subie. The max is more 'bling' than rally. Thats why we see all the 20" chromes

Dues, if you like it, which you obviously do, then just do it.

It will be different and original, which is what you are looking for. The other spoilers are not what youre looking for, so just go for it!!

$20???? GTFU! damn that's great! 200 mile trip? the gas $$ may be worth the shipping. very surprised he's allowing pickup. Many hope to make $ off the shipping.
