G35 HIDS on 6th Gen SE

Anybody know if the 03 G35 Bulbs, ballasts and harnesses will work with the 6th gen Max? i got a set of G35 HIDs but arent sure if they would fit. I was considering it cuz infiniti is nissan thought that they might be similar.

what the problem with yours, did you have the base model maxima? I dont see why it wouldnt fit, I think those projectors wont work though, they might be halogen projecotrs, then again it might be like audi is and uses the same halogen projectors they use for hids, what bulb size is your projector headlight? Or do you have hids already and they are just broken or somthing?

The G35 has a reflecter housing, the 6th gen has projectors, the G probobly has D2R bulbs and the 6th gen has D2S...You would not get a good result in my opinion, nor would it fit. The housings are different and so are the bulbs so im sure you cant just use the G's bulbs and ballasts in a 6th gen.

I have the 6th gen max non Xenon. And i have a pair of G35 headlight assemblies with the bulbs and ballasts and harnesses. The bulbs from the G35 are D2R, and i believe the headlights on my max are 9012 which are equivalent to 9006 so im told.
I was just trying to see if it would be a plug and play format since Infiniti is made by nissan. Its worth a try and saves me 400 bucks
