Rear Deck Rattle

I recently installed 3 10inch mtx thunder 6000's in my trunk, and the rattle the hell out of my third brake light. I know that some of your stuffed towels or socks in there to stop the noise but i am wondering how u did it and how to take the third brake light cover off to stuff it.

The socks really work. Basically slide them between where the window meets the rear shelf. Sit back there with music on loud, and press down to see if it stops the rattle. Then insert socks in those areas. My car sounds 100x better now.

I used to use a towel over the brake light, but actually after doing the sock mod, i no longer needed it. I was going to remove the whole brake light, but since the socks solved the problem i didn't need too.

The Sock Works.but I Used A Towel And Almost Got A Ticket For Blocking The Third Brake Light.don't Even Bother Remove The Plastic .it Would Sound Even Worst.

i put thin strips of velcro the soft side only on part of the brake light to keep the light and window from making contact. worked really good.

I have a rattle and I dont have subs, I had the dealer look at it and they said that they could not find it. I will try the velcro and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the tip.
