how do u reset the car computer? and how do you do rollbacks? a friend of mine rolled back the milage on his 04 se and wont tell me how it was done

Your friend was probably full of crap. Unless you saw the results yourself I'd suspect this is the case.

Not like you want to do it...then why are you asking the question? In case it's a rainey day and want to trade in your max for a new one and getting a better deal with lower mileage? Sounds a little suspicious to me. Good luck trying to do it and whoever said they did it...maybe if they work for Nissan at the plant and have the computer and software to mess around with the car beyond what normal user's/owners can access. Most manufacturers figure this into the process when they develop a car - specifically a car with a digital read out for mileage...so I'm sure it's tamper proof...
