These would look nice on silver....but $95 USD plus shipping is pretty pricey for 6 little pieces of plastic.

I install back up sensors and cameras all the time, it's not hard at all......I retail them for $299 installed (sensors) and $699 for the camera installed.

I'd love to get the backup sensors, but I would hate to drill the bumper.... Anyway, how do I install this? I'm thinking about getting this system. Even the LED colors match the Max's interior...

It looks like it needs (obviously) a +12V, ground and a trigger from the backup light circuuit. It says you tap into the backup lights. So its likely not all that difficult. Tap in at the backup lights and you're all set except for the drilling. As long as the amp draw isn't too much that it blows a fuse. The backup lights don't draw much so you should be safe.

As far as drilling the bumper it should be pretty easy as long as you take a look behind it from underneath to make sure you won't be drilling into a support structure and to make sure you have clearance behind it to push the sensors in there. Use some masking tape on the bumper where you are drilling to prevent the bit from wandering before it bites into the plastic.

Yeah good call on that one. $120US shipped to Canada for a couple pieces of plastic. You'd be better off getting the black pieces painted body colour if you ever had some body work done. Toss in $100 extra and have it match exactly. I'd get those done and the lower front grill insert painted body colour if I was getting any work done.

I just changed my mind. Would love to have it installed, and wouldn't mind drilling the bumper, but the sensors look too big! There's a pic on the guy's page on ebay of a beige Mercedes with the stick on sensors, and they just look wrong...
