That means mine should be at the house or it will be there tomorrow...

If it shows up I'll install it and post pics as well. I didn't see an obvious way to remove the stock boot... any ideas or should I just start taking out screws and pulling things until it comes off?

It does go over the OEM boot. Open the lid and carefully snap out bottom piece near the front. There is a lip in the back. Slide boot over and snap back in place. My friend chernmax gave me the instructions, they don't come with the boot. Later Warren

Ok E-Brake boot fans, received the REAL Burl Wood Dash kit for my ride yesterday and installed, so I only thought it fair to show why I selected the Sierra color. Anyway let the pics speak... Missan should make this standard EQ, PEACE All...

Looks real good guys, did you have to remove the plastic the E-brake sits in to install it or did it just get pushed down in the gap....in other words, how does it install?

OK dudes, installation is easy, using a flat tip screwdriver or pulling up gently from the front of the plastic piece that is around the E-brake handle. Pull up from the front only because the back has a tab that you do not want to break. If you have a custom E-Brake handle, you may have to remove, if not, skip this step. Then think condom, slid it over the top and get a nice snug fit. I also used a thin flat stick to help tuck the sides in, once snug, put plastic molding back around E-brake handle. Ta Da..

installation is what Chernmax said. I have a stock set up so I just removed the plastic piece and slid the leather boot right over. use some elbow grease cause its a real snug fit.

04blackmaxx...i didnt paint anything, thats stock. is your 04 different?

I have frost leather...my cup cover & the piece under the parking brake next to it is all the same color as the dashboard plastic. So looks like in the SE's nissan decided to make it all silver. I dont have much of a preference either way, interesting though.

Those of you who installed new boots from RedLineGoods.com, please post pics so we can see the different colors used. Also, did anyone with a 2k4/2k5 6-speed pony up their shift boot for a template?

So the black ebrake boot should match perfectly with the OEM black 6 speed boot right? I dont wanna order a boot and it be darker or lighter than the oem one.
