Anyway to have both satellite radio and line inputs with stock HU?

So, would it be possible to have both the satellite radio and a pair of line inputs (via the PAC adapter)? Is there someway to have a switch to switch between the inputs?

Thanks!

According to my knowledge you would need to seperate switches to turn either one on or off.

If you have the PAC adapter you can't use the OEM sat receiver... if you use it just as a line-input for an aftermarket sat/mp3 player, then you can use the PAC's second input and you can switch it by using the a/b/c switches on the radio controls. But that's it... 2 inputs and you're done.

Which brings up the question... what are you trying to do?

Heh, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure how the PAC gave the two inputs.

Well, I was really wondering how to hook up an external MP3 player to the stock HU without loosing the OEM sat radio... I've seen some pretty interesting MP3 players (like this one for $199: http://forum.woot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=306 Although, It might look a little 'ricey' but I would have to see it in person.. and where would it be installed, etc), and was wondering if I could use both. Of course, it might only need one or the other...

Thanks for the info though - I'm sure I'll just have to be content with the OEM sat radio.
