I've searched the forums and see lots of opinions. I keep reading how some love it and how some dont.

Is it worth it to get an injen intake ?
I'm getting it a very good price, thats why the thought crossed my mind.

does the intake make the car sound louder? i like a quiet growl. and do you really notice a speed increase?

 

Very happy with mine, and i got it at a great price off ebay. It does add a bit deeper sound at the higher rpm's. It seems faster, but because i haven't had the car dyno'd since the y-pipe install I don't know the exact gains.

The only negative things i've regarding the intake have been the price, the support latch ripping off the piping, the difficulty in installation, and the water worry.

 

I love it, definitely a performance improvement and it looks hot under the hood. On the down side, the side mounting bracket is not the greatest design and after a year, mine sheared off and I had to modify it to secure it better. Overall, a great performance investment.

 

I just order my Injen CAI from CustomEnterprise last week. I haven't installed yet, I'm waiting on the Y pipe from them. But I had a Injen intake in my Galant and I love the gains and sounds from it. I never had a problem out of their products...
