I hurt MAXI

Tonight I was backing out of my garage and a friend of mine was too far to my side, which i did not see until i hear a rubber bump/pop sound.(awful noise) I pulled up and got out. I look at her car first, I hit her front panel above the tire and it mashed it in a little and scuffed a lot of her paint up... So scared to death I look at my car. No metal was damaged, it only touched my bumper. Luckily our bumpers are high up. It nicked the paint in a few small places easily to be touched up, and put a few white marks on it. I got all of the white marks off. I just need to get some touch up paint and I will be good to go. However she is not so fortunate. I hope I can get it fixed for under 300. It is not that bad. I got most of the marks off of her car. it is just the dent. Oh she has a 01 Accord EX. Im soo mad right now she only has 2500 mi on her. AHHHHHHH My friend was not even that mad, she was asking me why I was stessing over my car cause it is not even noticible to her.

300 bucks to fix a dent in a Japanese made car, good luck, I recommend start making a $hit load of lemonade and start selling first thing in the morning... Bravo to your cool headed friend.

It is a very small dent not very deep it is about as wide as my hand. I hope my father will fix it, he is good with cars. I will see what her dad says if not I will just file it on my insurance and pay 500. deductible.

why dont u get a quote of the damage first from a body shop. If you go through the insurance youll get a point on your record and ur insurance rate will go up. In the long run itll cost you more money than going to a local body shop. just my two cents

05MaXiMaMenG, is right on the money, at your age, driving a Max filing on your insurance may save you some money this month, next month you should receive flowers from the insurance company as a courtesy prior to F%$#ing you... Good Luck

Go to one of those Dent Buster places....they are pretty cheap, they do wonders.....trust me from previous experience.

She is going to take it to get an estimate tomorrow. But if it is too much I will tell her where to take it. Im not going to pay an arm and a leg for that.. Her car had a lot of dents and dings in it before me that she never worried about getting fixed before. I looked at it in the daylight and it was not that bad at all.

A dent is never a problem when your the owner and you caused the dent, however when someone else does it, it's a priority and must be fixed immediately, your fix can always help mask some of the previous dings.

Rates don't always go up due to accidents. Depends on your track record.

Been in two accidents and my rates haven't changed a cent. I was at fault both times.
