What polish to use on chrome

What polish to use on chrome
whats up everyone, I am trying to figure out what to use on the chrome trim on the outside of our Maximas (it is a little scratched and sorta dull). I purchased a product yesterday but it made the piece look kind of hazey. What do you guys use. I was also wondering if by any chance i could get those replaced under the factory warranty for dulling so quickly.

WTF...!!? Are you serious...thats cheesy man. So its warranty work right...or are you coming out of pocket for them? If it is warranty i am going to take my baby in this Tues...getting skyview replaced, grill is bubbling so that is going to be replaced, and one of my foglights gave out (that is sorta concerning me that it blew out so soon.) Trying to knock all these out before my 36k factory expires within another 5k.
If it is not under warranty i am gonna try some plastic polish in a small area if that does not work...then outta pocket expense it shall be.

That is where I am going today, to the dealer and having them order me a new set. Sucks they close every Saturday at noon though here. Mine are faded to hell and since it is plastic chrome....I think the only way to fix it is replace it.

well you know what to do now since i explained it over IM, just get them replaced on warranty and whatever you used on the rear chrome if you like it keep using it when you get the new ones...

I use a company called "Mothers" chrome cleaner and it seems to work great. But that is on real chrome rims not the fake plastic stuff that the grill is made out of. I am postive they will replace the bubbling grill under warranty since I had mine done. However, see if they will let you apply the money it is going to cost them to replace the factory one for the real alumminum one. I wish i had done it because I know this grill is going to do the same thing because it is cheap.

I wouldn't use any polish on the chrome plated plastic. Polish implies that it has abrasive which will scratch up your chrome and make it worse in the end. Flitz is an excellent product but not for this application. The chrome plastic on my G35 only gets cleaned with a soapy sponge.
