Supercharger news???

Where do things stand on the supercharger issue? Is this still in the works?

Well SSR had everybody foaming at the mouth over their kit, then just up and left and never came back to the 6th gens... this was back in late February. A month later they started pimping their 5th gen turbo kit, but I don't know whatever happened to our stuff...

Then the whole Stillen G35 business came around, and people started looking into ways to turn the engine 90° to make it fit our FWD cars and ****...

But we're back in the same place we were a year ago... waiting.

It's a shame that we have to resort to this sort of scavenger hunts to get forced induction into our cars. I figure that if you're willing to drop $30k for the car, and you're looking for mods to sink money into, that the companies would be knocking at your door trying to pimp their wares.

Instead you end up with a bunch of people with interest and money to spend but no parts that they can buy... WTF is up with that?

What does your laundry list look like so far for the Tek-Niq-charger experiment? Outside of labor, do you know what you're looking at as far as price already or not yet?

so far VIGERA we have to get the timing chain and sprockets off the 4th gen and some other parts off the 3.0 engine, then the SC will bolt up direct to the 3.5 just like it would the 3.0..

I have no price range yet since I have no clue how much that will cost...

since we can't fit the whole 4th gen kit as a bolt on, we might just have to get the SC by itself (1500-2000$) and get all the piping done seperate..

I will speak to acouple people that know more and get back to ya'll...

I think tilley(4th gen member) has done this with the timming chain cover. This had me foaming at the mouth w/ the possibility of a 3.5 swap w/ my supercharger setup. Please post some feedback as you go along

What about the oil return plate or the belt adjuster bracket assembly? Does all this bolt up to ya'lls motor
