Moisture Inside???

First of all let me emphasize that it has been raining like crazy around here and when it is not the humidity levels are very high.

I keep noticing my windshield has moisture buildup inside lately. This has usually been two small patches in the center just above the dash. However today it rained like hell and the entire windshield was covered inside with moisture. After about 5 minutes of defrost I got rid of it but then I noticed a handful of drops of water on my windshield inside! What gives? I have never had this problem before on my old Max. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it normal or do I have a windshield that is not tighly sealed? Thanks in advance...

dude, use your a/c to unfog the windshield.... you notice how the a/c turns on automaticly once the windshield setting is pressed, well thats for a reason...

the moisture is the fog going away, it leaves a wet residue behind.....

this is completly normal....

I know that you utilize the a/c to defog a windshield (it has to be conditioned air for defrost to work), but why is there so much interior moisture to begin with and no one in the car? This is on the inside after the car has been sitting for a few hours. I have not ever had this problem before. Maybe I have always been lucky but this is the first car (I've owned) that has moisture on the windshield inside the car after sitting with the windows up.

you ever get in the car in the morning and had to wipe the windshield cause its kinda wet from the humid weather... well the same thing is happening inside the car... once your windshield fogs up when you turn the heat on or so, it goes away yes, but leaves a blanket of wet coating behind... so on your glass...

try this... blow on your hand while over your mouth... then feel them they will be coated in moisture(kinda wet)....... same thing....

another EX: you ever drove through a fog cloud and had to turn the wipers on cause the windshield started to get wet.......... same thing, but inside the car...

fog= moisture........
