Resetting ECU after mods

i took my car to the dealer and took the intake out before i took it.. and now i put it back on.. and the service engine soon light came on.. i disconnected the battery (both terminals) for 2 hours.. and the light is still coming on. as i remember from my old integra.. there was a button under the dash board... i looked under the dash just now.. and didnt find anything... is there a button on our cars? if so where is it located...? thanks

Theres no button to reset the ECU on our cars. You can wait a few days and the light will probably go away. You can take it to the dealer to have it removed also but it may cost you.

There was a thread somewhere where a guy explained in detail how he reset the ecu using a combination of shutting off the car and pressing down the gas pedal.

hah..it was sooooooooo long ago too. (3-4mo.?) I know I had the same prob after dropping in a K&N..then the light went off by itself after 3 days, never came back. I took the K&N out right away but it still stayed on for a few days.

Disconnect battery
While foot on brake, insert the key and turn as if you were trying to start the car. I haven't had the need to try this on my Max yet, but that's how I do it on my other cars.
