Sorry but I don't think they will fit the 04-05 Max. Their was another thread aout these hotshots and it turned out they were actually for an 02 through 03 5.5Gen Max, not the new 6th Gen.
I will fully except if you prove me wrong.

Well that sucks to hear I just got off the phone with these guys and they said it would fit. $ 600.00 beans is alot of money to burn and they don't fit you know but then I can send them back. I see if im getting any money back from school this month if so I could try it. So many bills got to make sure my money is right my dad will kill me if i get kicked out of school. That would kick a$$ if i could get the money and see if they work if I get the money I will let you no

Just remember, school comes first, with the right education and job, the cost of these mods in the future will seem like peanuts. Trust me, I was a former HS dropout and the road was hard and bumpy. NOT ANYMORE THOUGH...

Make sure you take a college level reading/writing class.

Just kidding!

About the headers though, did they give any time frame?

Lol

send us their e-mail, im sure with a blast of interest from the org they'll get teh ball rolling.

I dunno about you guys, but since i joined the org i became a maximanatic/totalfanatic.

I would spring $600 for a set of headers if i knew they gave me 10-15 more ponies.

10hp headers
2hp y-pipe
1hp mandrel bent exaust with Remus muffys
2 hp UDP
1 hp Nismo/Berk/Injen or home made intake.

total of 16Hp extra for a total of 281Hp.

plus cams 10Hp

total of 291hp.

There we go I'm at the rought equivelant of a new Z350..

Oh well a Z is not my max id pay extra for her.

Peace,

Kam

I take it you guys missed the thread I started a few days ago. Hotshot told me through an email that they need someone in their area for test fitting of the Altima seR headers.

Well I think the numbers are conservative but realistic, but when you add it all up, is it really worth it?

$600 for headers.
$300 for the y-pipe (unless you got it on that GD back in the day for $200)
$$$$ for the exhaust... if you go with Greedy or Cattman you're looking at $600-800 easy. Maybe just a couple of hundred if you go for the piping and no new mufflers.
$200 for the UR UDP
$200 at least for the intake unless you go with home-made.

That's almost $2k for an estimated 16hp. Any way you slice it that's a lot, and I think it shows that the aftermarket for the 6th gen is still hurting. Hopefully we can get a few more choices and that will drive the prices down.

And that's not even talking about the cams... what did somebody say before, $1,200 or something like that for cams? You're looking at $3k for 25hp. When you look at the forced induction choices for other cars, you see $6k for 4-5 times as much power. If you believe SSR you're looking at $3,500 for 100hp jump. That's more like it IMO...

I guess if you wanted to buy a y pipe and a set of headers then go ahead but it would be completely pointless. Maybe learn something about the Engine components you are speaking of and you'll know what I mean.
