Need a lil help w/ emblems.....

Question guys, do the rear emblems on the '04 SL have holes from attachement, or are they "glued" on, I really wanna shave 'em and have the opportunity to do so in about an hour. Not that i do not want ppl to read them, I just think it looks sweet shaved.... So all in all...

1. Do the rear emblems have holes there, or are they glued on???
2. Would a heat gun damage my paint when trying to remove them?
3. Would you suggest doing this?
4. Has anyone else tried this?

Plz answer quick, cause i can do this in an hour or so if they ARE glued on... and the heat wont damage my paint...

Yeah, they're all glued on back...Many ppl have removed "MAXIMA" and "3.5 SE" and it looks pretty good...Ive heard people use dental floss and slip it behind the letters to take them off...Id use a hair dryer not a heat gun...that will get it hot enough

I think there are two holes for the trunk emblem. The "MAXIMA" and "3.5 SE" are only stick-ons.

The Nissan burger emblem has holes only if its mounted to the rear lip spoiler.

Since you have no spoiler, there should be NO holes.

Any way, all the emblems are off now, and it looks SWEET, my detail guy shane is washing it for me now... I cant wait to take some pics to post, but i let my roomie take my digital camera to the beach with him this morning.....
