New brake rotors, pads, painted calipers!!! PICS!
With the help of a friend this past weekend, I completely replaced all four rotors with cross-drilled ones, new ceramic pads and I painted the calipers. Went pretty well, took about 4 hours total (and a 12-pack of Sam Adams) to get it done, but we weren't rushing at all. Pics below....

yah, the rotors are zinced. A little groany right now as they break in, but other than that they work perfect. I don't have an ebrake either at the moment, since we had to loosen the star wheel that adjusts the ebrake to get the rotor off, and we weren't able to re-tighten it... so I'll have to take it in to get that fixed... unless someone has a trick that will get that little thing to turn back to tighten up!

We also went a little snug so that the ebrake inner rotor would smoothen also with movement and the Ebrake handle came to a complete hold with less than half the lift.
If your rotors did not come with an alignment hole, have the rears removed and drilled out on a drill press. If you park on hills or inclines, you want to apply your Ebrake, not us your transmission as a kick stand. Good Luck...

grab the parking brake handle and wear that sucker out... pull, release, pull, release..
is there not a hole in the front of the new rotors to turn it?

you mean that block of wood I leave in my driveway isn't acceptable?
Yes they came with the hole, the problem we encountered was the little star wheel that you tighten with the screwdriver just wouldn't turn, and I didnt want to put too much force as to break it. Anyways, I dont have to worry about hills on a normal basis, and I'll get it checked out in the next couple days.
the paint was G2 brand caliper paint... used 3 coats and it looks great now... its a lot easier to paint them with the calipers completely off, but that's also more work if the only thing you're doing is painting.

After every car wash, I wipe them clean with Windex and a paper towel and they still look like I just painted them. ZERO fading... Gook Luck

paint the calipers, then put the stickers on, after just hit it with a few coats of clear lacquer and it should hold...
I haven't heard of any falling off so far..
After I painted my calipers, I roughed up the area where the stickers were going to go and I applied them with no problem. They stuck really well. Then I sprayed them with clear coat. They arent going anywhere and look great.
Damn I need to put a coat of clear on mine, hopefully they're still on when I get back home...

Are there any "how to's" that deal with painting the calipers? It doens't look like it would be a hard job but I wouldn't want to take a chance of messing up their function.
@jsmithsole: I like the silver you used. I've got a liquid silver '04 and may do the calipers silver too.
