Sounds to me like it's the fault of Nissan for not providing better suspension system.

I still race my Maxima but on a track of course.

Title should read, "Please dont street race ..."

How about not street racing in general, regardless of what car you are driving. That is just a shame.

What does the rear beam suspension have to do with the accident? I don't get it, my 02 Max SE never forced me into a curb and a tree?! What am I missing? Thanks.

Are you ****in' joking? You're blaming Nissan because some irresponsible ******* got his fiance' killed because of a stupid decision? This is why our country is going down the toilet because no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions.

Quote: Boo hoo breakout the snot rag...... what about the thousands of people killed by someone elses selfish acts every friggin day but you dont make a big deal ? why cause it didnt happen in a maxima. sometimes it really sux being a fire fighter but they teach you not to become emotionally attached to your job.

Fire fighters (God Bless them) choose to do what they do, and its just as sad (in my book) when an unfortunate accident happens. I know for myself, I could careless what car they were in, the fact that the woman was pregnant who died, is why I responded.

No doubt, a 6th gen would have been doing over 100 mph at that point in the contest.

Tragic, could have happened in any car though, street racing in general is a Maxima.Org NO, NO, has absolutely nothing to do with the Maxima. Moron's racing just happened to be driving them...

we all know street racing is stupid. tho it is very tempting when something like TL is standing next to you at the red light. however, we all should know street racing is not worth your or someone's life

Very, very sad. What the hell was he thinking racing, especially with your 8 months pregnant fiance in the car. 2 innocent lives lost. It does sound like org members.

And after the wreck would have complained about the crappy RSA tires and torque steer.

Given the trends of our court system all I did was fast forward a few months.
