OEM Non-Bose - CD Stuck

I was having some issues off and on with my radio not reading CDs and once in a while clicking when ejecting. No difference in stamped CDs vs burned CDs.

Saturday, the CD will not eject and only clicks when you hit the ejection button.

Anyone run into this? I'm at 1.5 years / 25k miles and I'm wondering if I should have radio fixed through Nissan or just put out the cash for an aftermarket.

I see no buttons to push that force CD ejections so I know that I or Nissan will have to rip the dash out one way or another.

i would have gone to nissan for warranty repair. even if you decide to upgrade, you'll have a working one to save or sell.

yeah my CD player is scheduled to be replaced on friday 30th of september.
nissan is replacing with new under warranty. (35,895 miles) just got in under warranty!
first problem i had was that it sucked up a CD and would not spit it back out. it even continued to let me load six additional CD'S. (strange). about a month later i starter getting "CHECK CD" message and it wouldn't play at all.
you should have no problem getting your unit replaced under warranty. good luck!

Now they have to order the stereo. Today was just the 'diagnostics'.

Hopefully by next weekend I'll have CDs playing again.

I love my Sirius SAT....

Bose is notorious with Nissans. well it's actually a Clarion player, just Bose speakers (but the get funny too, unless the signal from Clarion is at fault)
