where can i find bulbs for the freakin headlights? i know i need the 9012 bulb but can not find one online. Do i have to get one from nissan, is there no aftermarket alternative?

 

Here's a thread that I had started, http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=410122 but there are others, there are some available on e-bay right now... at 29.99 EACH think they are cheaper from the dealer.

no, none that I've found, and I have been looking

 

They don't offer aftermarket bulbs in the 9012 size yet because these are a fairly new type of halogen bulb. I believe you can modify the base of a 9006 or 9007 to fit. Sylvania Silverstars are a nice and inexpensive upgrade.
