Only if the restriction is significant enough to make the exhaust more restrictive than the intake. If you (anyone in general) don't know what physics is, I'm not going to give a lesson. That's what high school and college was for. Obviously no one believes me so let's just call me wrong and move on to the next topic. I'm tired of this it isn't worth the effort. I'm ordering my headers as soon as they come out.

The throttle plate is controlled by the ECU. From what I know, the plate doesnt open 100% at WOT and this is why people get the ECUs reflashed. also to get the higher rev limiter, removed speed gov., and a/f tuning which IMO would be better to have a shop do for ya instead of a preset map from TS.

Yep that is what I am thinking!

I thikn that reflashing will really benefit like what Glude said. Its just a matter of getting Technosquare off the dime and figuring it out.

from what I've been reading, I'm pretty sure you can have a dummy ecu sent with a $500 deposit to keep driveability in your car, I am going to look into this, if this is the case - I will be getting a chip. If not, then physics it is.

Maybe Technosquare should buy it, modify it an sell it for a reasonable price that would include sending in you old one once the new one is received. Then they can modify the next one and get the production line moving, sometimes you have to invest a little to make a lot...

Yo know me bro, whatever works to get this moving, I think this is the best way to go since no one wants to up their own and have their ride in layup till they finish (I know I don't), other Orgers should also be on the lookout for parted out or wreaked 6th Gens that may still have an intact ECU..

Any word on the performance of the Max with the Hotshot headers? Sound? A little write up of how you did it would be good.
