I've had it installed for almost half a year now I think. I don't use it every day but when I do use it, i'm very glad its worth it. I have it hooked up to a portable dvd player and i put that on my arm rest so people in the back can watch as well. If thers no one in the back, I just keep the dvd player on the floor in the front. I have the PAC AAI-NIS for the audio and it works great. Sometimes I get interference and the video has lines but thats not a big deal. Its great for road trips or if you're waiting for someone. I figured that I paid so much extra for navi I might as well put the screen to use more. As bigcozz said, you can install a backup camera with it as well. So when you put the shifter in reverse it automatically switches to the camera.

I got mine from http://www.tvandnav2go.com/

Excellent product and excellent customer service. Ask for Dominic, he's a great guy and helped me out a lot with the install...he called me after business hours and walked me through everything.

how much do you want for the unit. im assuming there 350 each if you paid 700 for both, so how much did you want for the unit you have left over.

Ouch... where did you get those? I got one for my brother-in-law (no navi on my car) and I think it was like $150. I drove down to Dominic's shop and picked it up myself...

nice good idea. my brother did the rgb swap in a acura tl type s and he has no problems. people tell me that the maxima navi screen is alot better then the acura screen, pixel wise. i helped my brother with his screen and it took almost 6 hours but it was our first time. im lookin for a good rgb proccessor for my 05 maxima, if anyone knows a good one leave let me know and give me some tips if u ahve done it yourself. vp0392@gmail.com

Luigi'smax posted about his install, complete with pictures of Super Mario Brothers running on the nav screen

Look around here or on the mod picture page that carcus has, I think that's where I saw it.

I also got mine from Dom at www.tvandnav2go.com. However on the 2002 Navi he had to seriously modify the NAvi head unit. I installed a Fahrenheit DVD/TV unit and I've had it about 6 months. No issues. Dom did a great job on the Navi. I think it's the only 2002 OEM Navi in the country that plays DVD / TV / PS2 etc. unless someone else had Dom rewire theirs.

Has anyone changed their non nav maxima to a nav maxima (stock nav)??? I have a 2004 maxima without the stock nav and I want to add the stock nav into it. Is this possible? Has anyone done it or anyone you know done it? What needs to be done if yes?
