My 2 sets of HIDs (PICS!!)

I finally had the time to install the ProLumens D2S and Micro H3 HIDs in 6000k. I didn't mount the igniter or the ballasts...I simply shoved them in different places so that they won't move around. I hid the wires and everything so my engine bay don't look too bad. I'll post night shots within 24 hours, but meanwhile enjoy these:

For some reason, the camera makes the driver side's D2S a different color, but in person it's not. I hope you like them, it was a pain to remove the front bumper and I sure don't want to do this again for a while.

Any comments or questions? (I'm interested to hear your opinions)...

Please be patient....night shots will most likely be posted tonight!

Looks good. How much did you pay for the parts? How long did the whole process take you?

Thanks !
The job took me alittle less than an hour. If I had to do it again, I can do it in no time...it all depends on how long it takes me to remove the bumper. The H3 Micros (6000k) was $260 shipped w/lifetime warranty, the same goes the for 6000k D2S bulbs ($150)that I installed. H3 Micros do NOT come in anything under 6000k. so you can 't find one to match your stock HIDs. Contact UMNITZA here on the org to purchase the items. The color of the output don't match 100%, the h3 micros are a bit bluer... (I'll settle!). I've gotten enough looks already!

I basically placed the igniters & ballasts where ever I can without having to drill holes or use a double sided tape. During the install, you'll find places to "shove" them in.. Take a look at my pics and you can try placing them there.

Blackstarz- No, I don't live in Linden. I'm from monmouth county but I'm currently in PA for the next two months. take a look at the gas price that i'm paying here in pa... it's great!

Once you connect the wires, you won't be able to close the rear cap of the h3 housing. Mine are just hanging there.

Here are the pics like promised. Enjoy. As always, comments and questions are welcome. My next mod = Stillen Lip + Lower Grille (sittin' in my living room)

The last pic has ONE yellow circle because both the igniter and the ballast are placed along the tube.

nice

Im waiting for umnitaza to ship my H3 non micro yellow, do you think they will fit in the for housing, NON micro?

Anywhoo, I will use self tapping screws with threadlock on them to put the balasts in place. Where are all the spots to remove the bumper, and how come everyone is removing their bumpers to install fogs.

I replaced my fogs but just removing the air intake and the wwasher tube.

Thanks,

Kam

You should have purchased the micro h3s, although i don'tknow if they come in yellow... they come only in 6000k and UP. The non-micros will not directly fit without any modification (which I have no idea on how to), that's why i exchanged my non-micros to the micros.

I removed my bumper to get easy access to teh headlights and the foglights.
