CD player problem? Bose w/navi

I am having a problem with my 04 max... when I play any CD I only get most of the sound comming out of the right side speakers only. If I adjust to the left it sounds all low and fuzzy out of all of the left channel. The FM/AM and Tape player play just find out of right and left sides when used. It is just the CD player. I was wondering if this happend to anyone else? It has happend before and it just started working find after some time but now it has been like this for a few weeks now. Do you think it is the connector on the CD player going to the stereo system is loose? I have a referb CD changer installed by the dealer a year ago. Any advise is helpfull... I am playing on taking out the CD player over the weekend and check the connectors.

Thanks!

That would be a lot easier and I'm sure done more often if they would turn on the search function for us peasants.

why don't you read the rules and stickies instead of sitting around waiting for handouts?

I have had my cd player replaced twice for the same issue. Radio played fine, but the CD only worked on one side of the speakers. After the first replacement, I noticed if you hit the passenger side of the center console the speakers kicked in. Strange. Also, if you hit a pretty hard bump the sound would start to come out. Take it to the dealer and they will have to order a new radio, call you when it comes in and replace it. Take out your CDs before you bring the car back. Also, the mechanic does not reprogram your stations. I do not have the sat radio in dash on mine either. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info!!

So is there anything that I can do outside of my warranty? I do have that extended quality gaurd plus but I am not sure if it covers the CD player. What would anyone suggest? Check the cables going to the CD player or is it an internal thing where it is just bad?

Why don't you tell the site developers to get some better ads so they don't have to beg the memebers for money. some of the best forums on the net are FREE and the don't beg for money!!!

you get what you pay for. do you enjoy putting up with annoying ads all over the place and pop-up everywhere? if so, more power to you.

for me, i'd rather pay some to avoid al lthat junk, PLUS get to search.

the only other thing i can say is...if you don't like it here, there's nothing keeping you here.
