6th gen engine cover.

I would like to get a 6th gen engine cover to match my black car. I can't find where to get it, ive tried looking for them on a couple sites (linked from the org) but i can't seem to find where to buy a black engine cover. You guys know?

Paint it yourself with the factory paint, that is what I am working on right now.

our covers come black, but as to a glossy black like your paint color you will have to get it painted..

like I did..

There is also a Carbon Fiber one out there i saw in a thread here. Search for it. It will most likely be cheaper for you to do it yourself, or make firiends with a local shop and get them to hook you up.. Good Luck..

Why don't you try paitning yours? In hate engine covers. They look good, but mine never seem to stay on.

but, yea man they come flat black.. my suggestion like all the others is to try and get a 6th gen one off someone or the dealer..

I look on ebay often and haven't came across one yet there..

Im not a big fan of cf. I found a couple off some parts cars in the 6th gen for sale, but I haven't got pm's back so.

If you want flat black, try caliper paint. It will also be good because it is heat resistant.

that paint is for metal not plastic mroleg, I don't think it will stick well...

He would be correct -- fusion paint works well on plastic, but i don't know how welll it would stand up to the heat,
