if the indians would have killed a cat instead of a turkey , we'd all be eating pu**y for thanksgiving.

Wow this sure ended up being a very Happy Thanksgiving for me this year. I went down to walmart at 3:00am and was able to get the last HP laptop they were selling for only $378! I am using it right now and so far I am pretty impressed with it for the money. Could use more ram though with only 256mb but everything else is great. Wireless really works well too. Hope some of you were able to grab one of these in your area as well.

I never go shopping on black friday, I don't care if they are givin **** away, my time is money and people just get crazy in those lines. News was full of arrests and stupid **** , I can't imagine anything I need that bad at 3am that is worth more than a good nights sleep...

After said and done even though I think getting this cheap laptop was worth the effort, I tend to agree with you. If walmart wasn't 1 mile from my house and I wasn't off from work, I would not have done it either. At our walmart here there were alot of people being nasty and loud but luckily no physical fighting broke out. At least not in the time I was there which was to grab the laptop go directly to the register pay and out to the car. I did not buy another single thing there nor would I but the laptop deal was really too good to pass up for me. Anyway after I heard later that day on the news how people were fighting each other over the deals, I was thinking to myself that I will never do that again on the day after thanksgiving. I believe your right no deal is worth getting hurt over and it really appals me to see how we seem to have little to no humanity left in this country when people are beating up old people and pregnant women to get their hands on a deal. It is actually sickening to me. So much for cheer and good will towards man this season.

To follow up on my Thanksgiving post, at the State finals, Upland placed 7th in Division 1 out of 23 teams in one of the toughest State finals in the country, as California tends to produce some of the best teams nationwide. Congrats Upland High!! This pic makes this post more relevant:
