Cornering Lights

Hey everyone, I don't know if there is a thread on this and I have browsed through many. Anyways, I changed the bulbs in my cornering lights to some blue ones at 27 watt, yet the light sucks. It is a little bluer than I wanted, and the output is not very good as the previous bulbs that came with the car were brighter. Does anyone know or recommend some better and brighter bulbs for the Cornering LIghts in the bumper? I'de like a good light output with a hyper white/slightly bluish tint to it. Thanks everyone in advance!

I believe I used PIAA replacement bulbs...not sure of the wattage but they are bright. Maybe paying a little more will get you a better bulb? Did you buy pretty cheap ones?

The first thing I would do is check to see if the blue blubs are legal.

I think maybe the blue color is covering the light output of the bulb, or is a cheap one. cause piaa 3156 bulb is also 27 watts, and if jay says is brighter it must be something with the ones you bought..

yea they are cheap ones, the light output is not a deep blue, but has a light blue tint so I dont think I will have any police problems. I will definately check out the PIAA's...thanks

illegal...no blue or red lights on the exterior or interior of the car. unless for show purposes...what this means is if you use them on the street...no good. if you park on the street and then turn them on ..not good. if you go into a parking lot OUT OF THE STREET then you are good. if one tire is touching the street and the other three are on your house driveway...no good...

its like everything when it comes to police...most police wont care to see a blue shinny light come on for two seconds...and maybe after you explain those are the cornering lights they might let you go but there are allwayz the azxhole who would enforce the law and justice for the benefit of all the good citizens on this country and all that BS that goes along those lines...

for what i know, for the neon/LED underbody kit, police has authority to inpound your car..no questions no nothing, they can do it and thats it...so just be careful and make sure you always have a good excuse ready just in case...i seem to get away pretty easy most of the time... (oh by the way i was speaking for VA laws...i know it used to be the same in NY but who knows if it has changed...) why are the keys on the keyboard moving ?? this margaritas..i am drinking them and the keyboard is getting drunk...sad sad.

Did you mean blue like they light up blue? I was thinking the bulbs that are blue when they are off and bright white when they are on. I have the bright wht (blue when off)...

Yea they are actually blue bulbs, but they light up whiteish bluish, they give off a color a little deeper than our stock HID headlights

I just ordered a set of PIAA bulbs, I hope I will get better light output with these. The bulbs I got now (aftermarket) suck, they barely even light up the road when I put the turn signal on. Thanks for all the input guys.
