Did you have to use a separate module or was it just plug and play with the existing connections?

Not sure if it's compatible or not, I know the unit takes either SAT (Sirius or XM) If not I'm sure someone on here would buy it from you...
I'd just ask whoever you are going to buy it from.
Sorry not much help...

just wondering if this pioneer item would fit in the top section of the dash where the info screen is currently at and then take the info screen and place it in the empty space at the bottom of the dash.

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...219118,00.html

thanks in advance!

Nope it's already been discussed, not enough room up there, why not just buy the dash kit and install it where it's supposed to go? The just run an external screen like I did...

Factory look nav

I just got an Alpine Nav, and i love it . its got a great factory look . i have a dvd player in the glove compartment. they both share the same screen . i also have an override so i can watch movies while i drive . I didn't have to do anything to my radio , i can still control it from my steering wheel. All i had to do was move the screen

Yep, the Z1 IS a double-DIN, according to the Pioneer press release. Does that mean it would prevent you from using the pocket below the OEM unit for the info screen? Or does the OEM tape player take up the extra space of the double-DIN?

the tape player takes the the space like a double din. You will still be able to use the pocket. I just got the Eclipse AVN-5500 which is a double din unit.

Hi I'm a new Max owner and very happy. I got the same Pioneer HU and I wanted to know what will happen to my bluetooth capabilites. I really enjoy having bluetooth and I don't want to lose it. Has anybody changed HU and still has bluetooth?

I didn't have NAV stock, the upper screen is just hooked upto the HU. The lower screen in the stock info (non NAV) screen moved down to the bottom. I beleive that you can make your NAV screen play DVD's, just search around you'll find info...
