HP loss! WTF!!

Hey guys,
I know i am probably beating a dead horse here.
When my engine was stock (no Injen Cai) the car felt stronger, for some reason now that I have had the intake for 2 weeks, the ride doesnt feel the same. Is it my impression or is it really true that the computer reverts back to the stock perameters??
When I first installed the CAI it would pull nasty, now it pulls but I dont feel it the same.
Does anyone have stock dyno #'s for our 6th gen. I will put mine on the dyno with the CAI on this weekend, to see what it says w/o reseting the computer.
Then I will put it back on the dyno as soon as the SP2 goes on next week.

Injen claims 14 hp& 11lb ft i think on the CAI for our car. What is your guys take on that? I just hope the CAI was a good thing not a sh!ty upgrade.
Thanks
JOn

The dead horse thing yahhhh maybe!

I would be very, very, very surprised if you saw 14hp and 11ft-lbs from just the cai. Get it on the dyno and see.

You might see those numbers after the SP2 install. I like the idea of two dyno runs. Can’t wait for the numbers to come in!

From the get go, your car now has more laminar flow, do to the less restrictive intake design, which at the top end is better cause the engine can breathe better. From a stand still, since the intake is "more free flowing" You don't have turbulent flow ( basically air bouncing all over the place and building pressure in the intake box and that is were the grunt comes from off the line with the stock box.

Watch out with the rubber vibramount on your injen, don't mount it to tightly or it will shear in half, I've gone through 7 of them and injen charges 10 bucks for each of them. And there claims on hp and tq are complete bs.
