iPod through bose HU?

iPod through bose HU?
Anything out there? I've searched this forum and the rest of the internet as much as I can, and can't find anything that even comes close.
Of course, ideally I'd like to get something that'll control the iPod via steering wheel controls and display song info on the display... but I'd settle for a simple direct input (that doesn't involve a casette adapter :P )
I don't have satellite, so in theory, that's one way to get a signal into the thing.
Suggestions welcome.
