Another accident!

I was sitting a stop light and this girl just hits the gas and rear ends me. She saw the turning lane go and figured so could she. Well now after just a month from getting the right front fender fixed after the dumb *** fed ex dude hit it, Now I have to get the rear bumper redone. The dark cloud lingers over ole smokey! I am seriously thinking of selling her. I am tired of the fender benders and the magnetic attraction for this car!

You obviously are cursed. Seriously, though, that's tough luck.

I guess what the world wants to know, though, is ... was the girl talking on her cellphone at the time?

wow, that was incredibly stupid on her part. how much are the expected damages? bad drivers aren't bias on which cars they hit.

I know about dark clouds, I once had a rear axle brace replaced in my ride, had to go to the bank to get money out to pay the guy, the shop was cool and let me use my car so I could test drive it and run to the bank before paying, I parked and as I was walking toward the ATM I heard a crash!!!

Turned around and this jerk face driving a monster redneck pick-up truck just took out my rear quarter panel trying to park this beast in the spot next to my ride. After having my car in the shop for 5 days it took every ounce of restraint I had NOT to choke the living **** out of him.

Damn, made me mad just thinking about it and that was 15 years ago. On a good note, no dark clouds since...

Sorry to hear that. It's bad enough that fools blast through redlights all the time. Then you have the other fools that aren't paying attention and just hit your car. I hope you get her back in top shape. It seems atleast once a month when I'm sitting at a light I see some fool looking like they are about to rear end me. I don't think your car is the problem. There are too many bad drivers. Look at how people are always rearending tractors, buses and other vehicles that they should see but I guess we can stopem just hope they don't hit us.

LOL, yeah I expect it the rear bumper will have to be remvoved and repaired then the rear will have to be painted and blended. Barring there isn't any unseen damages. I'm expecting around 800 to 1,000$ damage. Most of that is labor charges.

I got rear ended about 6 months ago and it came toabout 3k for the repairs. There's alot of impact absorber under that large bumper, but it came back like new.

Wow, we definitely have the same luck. I got sideswiped in October (whole passenger side, and last month got rear-ended the exact same way!!

Once they got the bumper off, there was damage underneath as well (don't know the part names off hand). Total was $1,400.

I am like you......I feel like a magnet. Two people just plow into me within 4 months and I don't even have 16,000 miles on her yet! Makes me sick.

Good luck with your repairs,

Jane

Well, if she was, thats 2 things counted against her. first would be the fact that shes a woman

Update,I noticed my r/h side of the trunk lid is higher than the left now. Seems some unibody frame bendage going on. I'll have it at the body shop next week hopefully. I would show pics but the maxima is a strong car. The only thing you can see is the bumper scratched. It's the unseen damage that's the problem. And the fact the rear end might be tweeked a bit.
