I removed the fasteners and put in carpet padding. Quiets things down. I thought it was with a Phillips screwdriver?

KC they unscrew about 1/2 way, you'll see them pop up and then you just pull them out. But FYI it's the rear plastic piece that rattlles (where the plate is mounted) I tried to get in there and take it out to try and quiet it down and I couldn't figure out how to removei it. I stuffed a bunch of foam in there to try and absorb the rattle but it still didn't work, good luck! Post any progress you make...

Dues, I tried a philips but it really didnt do anything. Should I take a pair of needle nose and hold the back part still then unscrew the middle? Seems like a pain... Theres got to be a way to take the plate insert out and fill it. Didnt Maxima617 or whatever have his filled? OT, what ever happened to him (the chamelion max)??? Anyway, im tearin it up this weekend, probably ditch the spare while im at it. Alot of dead weight back there. I'll post if its worth it. If anybodys taken these stupid clips out, let me know how before I ruin more trying..

Thanks guys

What happens if you get a flat? Are the streets out there nice and clean. I will only take out the spare and jack when I run the track in the spring.

AAA. I may get some of that crap u put in uir tires to get u to the gas station. Actaully, a number of cars come from the factory without spares, but it is still quite rare.

No noise

yea, I ve taken care of all the noise, I might add I also use the dynamat kit fo the license plate as well, make sure you cover the entire floor of the trunk, if you have enough, do the spare tire area also....Only noise I hear now are inside the vehicle.....back pillar, im going to take them down and add some on the inside of those parts, also make sure you do your rear deck

I think the only noise I hear/care about is inside the vehicle...
(although it would be nice to be completely rattle free!!)
