The link works for me, it's large so it may take some time.

Tek, that Fujita sounds like Nascar!

Does it only get the loud above a certain rpm? How does it sound volume wise compared with the Berk, Injen, Stillen or other intakes out there?

you can tell by the video, it gets louder the higher up you go. normal city driving you can't hear it, is punching it off the line or speeding up is where it gets brutal.

I can't compair it to the rest though, I know the injen has a growl also, but noice wize i dunno..

oh no, it not that loud inside the car, you can hear the loud growl, but it not bad like that.

is outside the car where it echo's, the other people will hear it more than you.

I'll work on some passes with my cam... but inside the car you are ok, it might even get you to stomp on it harder, very cool...

Tek, nice VID. Damn that CAI is just as loud as the Injen. The frame mounting bracket looks better made than Injen and I like the way it removes the intake mid-body area like the Nismo and AEM, Curios to see how the shock mounted frame bolt holds up though. As always, great work...

Canadian:

we had to disconnect the MAF at one spot on the bracket cause it didn't reach to the other side of the intake, but its still held on tight to the intake and a second clip location on the bracket..

we needed the slack..

The harness in the middle is the MAF. The unit at the top is the electronic throttle/throttle position unit. I had to have mine replaced after it went bad after only 6K miles. But I've had the car a year and only had 6K miles so I don't know if mileage was the culprit for the tb failing or age. (maybe my heavy foot... )

not at all, you will be using the holes in the car already there since the intake goes all the way down to the front of the wheel.

the stock intake does the same... no cutting at all..

So does the stock MAF unit get removed from its housing and inserted into the new intake pipe?
