Finally did it!

OK, after 16 months, I have finally decided to keep my Max and modify it. I would like to attach photos, but I have no idea how to do so. Please advise...

FYI, I look like a Newbie, but I am anything but. I just have not posted very often because I hadn't done any mods and just didn't feel worthy. Some of you have some indredible rides...

You need to host the pics on cardomain and then link them to your posts.

The code for embedding the pics here is

Hope that helps!

You have to put the brackets [ ] around the img codes. Then the pic should come up.

Just make sure that whatever picture you want to post you right click on it, copy the properties, then paste that in the code between the brackets.

Like this.

Nice rims BTW!

Go to your cardomain web site and open the picture you want to post on the Org.

Place your mouse in the center of the picture and RIGHT click the picture.

Scroll down and select Properties

Copy the info listed in the Address (URL)

Go back to the Org site

In the reply box, top row, click on the 7th icon that looks like a mountain and moon in a yellow box.

Another window will pop up

Paste the information in that box

Press OK

The Box will move the info into your message area

Press "Post Quick Reply"

I got it! Thanks guys....I am not the most technically proficient member (OBVIOUSLY). Feels good to finally have some pics to share. I want your honest opinions. I am considering the following mods (Note, I just want a hot rod appearance - I don't care for a loud, rough handling vehicle. I have compromised the ride enough with the 20" wheels and Eibachs).

1. Either changing the dual tips or upgrading the mufflers and tips (nothing too loud)
2. Grille inserts
3. Woofer addition in the spare tire housing & ipod adapter
4. New pads, painted calipers, new rotors

I am open to suggestions. Agian, I am just interested in adding a little bass to the factory system and personalizing the appearance with quality products. I have been told that Akebono makes great rotors. All of this is new to me, so please help guys.

here are a couple more pics - Thanks in advance....Gouldscane

On cardomain, if you expand the pictures first, URL address information will be different so when you post, your pic's will be bigger...

ThanksChernmax, U read my mind. I was going to ask about larger photos, but I figured I had asked enough questions already!

FYI, that engine bay is the hardest thing I have seen in a long time. One of a kind modification, my friend.

WHOA, CHERN your background of your site is a bit "risque".. you need to make sure you let people know like (ME) that it is a bit naughty, and well, i look at this at work and i could get into trouble bro... any pics that show partial nudity, can get people in trouble.. ARG!! Love your ride and the background, but not at work.....

and gouldscane, goto putfile.com and sign up and post your pics there, so you can get them full sized and no stamp in your pics like cardomain uses. I only use cardomain as a nice set-up, but use putfile.com for full size pics, for posting... Once you upload them, click on them, and it should open to the original size which i would suggest not using anything above 1152 x 864, because anything bigger is a bit large for the forums.. 800x600 is good too.. Like above stated go down to properties, copy the link and post it up... good luck, and we are here to help you out.....

Looks good. How about some specs. Lowering springs? Coilovers? Rim size?

Thanks

It is defenitely lowered. I was curious as to which springs or coilovers where used to lower it.

Sorry dude, hot cars and woman go together. Cardomain doesn't have a problem with it so my site stays, cruise around the Max forum on other dudes sites and you'll see more if not worst of the same. I recommend don't look at work. If you would like a specific picture of something, PM me and I will hook you up. The Hot B!tches stay... PS, I change them monthly, so no peeking during working hours...

Yeah, I used the Eiback pro kit to lower it. Ride is very nice, by the way! Wheels are 20x8.5 Enkeis and tires are 245/35/20 Nitto NT555. 20% tint all the way around (save for the front).

I actually purchased the grille insert for the lower bumper, but thought better of it. I like to keep it simple. You look at it and know something is different, but you have to think about it.

Blaxima, if it were possible to have a crush on a car, I would have a hard on for yours! LOL Honestly, I never considered modifying my car until I saw yours. Absolutely original ride, my friend. I think I am going to change the mufflers and the tips (recommendations are encouraged - I want to keep the dual tips on each side too, but I don't want a loud purring sound). I am also going to change the rotors & pads (when I need them) and paint the calipers black or red.

I really appreciate all of your feedback. I feel welcome now!

I like the stance of your car and am glad to hear you used eibachs. A tuner shop here Orlando will be lowering my '06 next week with eibachs and replacing oem wheels with 20" mods. Thank you for the information. I am looking forward to my modifications.

Well, make sure you post your pics. What color is your Max? I got mine done at a local shop here that specializes in modifying Japanese imports. They did an excellent job.
